About this work
A charcoal caricature by William Henry Walker from 1916, titled The dove cote, shows three large pigeons with the caricatured faces of men perched on a ledge beneath a classical facade with the word PEACE carved above. The labels Henry, Willie and Woodrow appear along the base, and a small birdhouse is drawn in the lower left corner.
