About this work
A pen and ink drawing shows a ship's helmsman in a captain's cap and spectacles gripping the wheel of a vessel labeled U.S. Ship of State, topped by a perched eagle. A figure labeled Big Business leans out from the rail, shouting, while the ship heels sharply through rough, churning water. This 1914 print by William Henry Walker is titled Stop the ship; I've dropped a penny overboard.
