About this work

An ink drawing shows a group of men in top hats and pointed helmets sliding down a steep snowy slope on a toboggan, one figure tumbling off the sled. Below, two heads emerge from dark water at a hole in the ice, while a distant city skyline lies beneath a banded sky. The work is signed by William Henry Walker and dated 1904.
