About this work
A pen and ink political cartoon shows Uncle Sam in a top hat kicking a small sailboat carrying a group of agitated, caricatured men. The sail is labeled Wiener Schnitzel Zeitung and a pennant reads German-American Propaganda, set against choppy waves. The work is dated 1915 and was made by William Henry Walker.
