About this work
A charcoal-style drawing shows a large globe with a scowling face and continents visible, supported by a uniformed figure who thrusts a sword toward a smaller, startled soldier at right. Smoke drifts behind the globe and birds fly across the scene. The work is titled "Not in his war plans" and was made by William Henry Walker in 1914.
