About this work
A pen-and-ink political caricature by William Henry Walker, dated 1908, titled "Exterminated; Plenty of good game left for either Bill." Caricatured human heads are attached to animals such as a giraffe, ostrich, lion, tiger, bears and a hippopotamus, while a fox gnaws on a bone beside a skull. Figures labeled "US Senate Cotérie" peer from a tree at the upper right, and armed hunters appear at the right edge.
