About this work
A caricature drawing shows a large figure in a cap and jacket sweeping vigorously with a broad broom, scattering small fleeing figures and a bomb across a map-like landscape marked United States of America. A bucket labeled Gov. Clean Up stands nearby and crowds of cheering figures fill the background. The work is signed William Henry Walker and dated 1917.
