About this work
An ink drawing shows a long line of men in suits and top hats hauling an elaborately decorated carriage in place of horses, with a figure in a cap riding on the carriage. A bird sculpture perches on a pedestal near the front, and a curving procession of onlookers trails away to the left. The work is signed by William Henry Walker and dated 1910.
