About this work
A pen and ink drawing with wash shows a group of men in heavy coats crowded into an open automobile as it skids across a snowy landscape. A luminous swirl of aurora fills the dark sky above, and a figure leans out from the side of the car. The work is attributed to William Henry Walker and dated 1898.
