Why is this public domain? Moloch died in 1909; this work is in the public domain.
About this work
A draped female figure stands with a hand pressed to her face amid rubble, broken architecture, and scattered newspapers, while a child lies sprawled at her feet. Printed signage on a tattered flag and gravestone-like placards lists place names, and a torn book inscribed Histoire de Paris rests on the debris. The print is signed Moloch and dated 7 mars 71, and is titled Souvenez-vous by Alphonse Hector Colomb, dated 1871.
