About this work
A lithographic calendar print shows a bride in white and a groom in a top hat climbing the open staircase of a crowded tramcar, while passengers, a conductor and onlookers react with exaggerated expressions. A printed monthly calendar for 1880 occupies the lower portion of the sheet. The print is credited to Moloch (Alphonse Hector Colomb) and published by J.-A. Bréval in Paris.
