This Japanese woodblock print titled Yoshiwara, by Utagawa Hiroshige and dated 1848, shows a line of travelers with hats and bundles crossing a green field beneath two large twisted pine trees. Mount Fuji rises in the background beside a band of dark trees and a red-tinted sky, with thatched houses visible on the right. The composition is part of the Tōkaidō series, as indicated by the inscription.
