About this work
A Japanese woodblock print shows two uniformed officers restraining a bound figure on a striped wooden floor, while an elderly woman in a striped robe reaches out in distress and a kneeling man in green gestures toward her. A wall clock, a wooden table and a chair furnish the room, and columns of text fill the printed header panel.
