About this work
An engraved print shows David standing over the fallen giant Goliath, holding aloft a curved sword while a severed head lies on the ground beside a dead warrior. Armored soldiers clash in a battlefield with tents and a walled city on the hillside behind, and a Latin inscription runs along the bottom edge.
