This etching shows two young men seated on grass, one with his back to the viewer and the other turned slightly toward the right, each holding a long staff. The fine hatched lines define the loose clothing, bare feet and tufted ground. The print, titled Seated Shepherd Boys, is attributed to François Boucher and dated 1735.
