This etching by Félix-Hilaire Buhot, dated 1878, shows a procession of armed men and dogs crossing a wooden-decked bridge beside a stone tower, with flamingos wading in the water below. Loose sketches of figures, cherubs and animals fill the margins, and a handwritten French caption runs along the bottom edge.
