About this work
A loose, expressive landscape shows a large dark farmhouse set on a green hillside, with grazing cattle in the foreground and a cluster of tall pine trees at the right. Heavy, dark clouds sweep across the upper sky, and the painted surface is built from rapid, textured brushstrokes.
