About this work
An engraved allegorical scene shows a charioteer driving a team of horses pulling a cart loaded with figures, while a chained woman stands at the right and a crowned figure sits atop the load. Labels inscribed on the print name the figures, and a distant walled city and mountains appear in the landscape.
