About this work
An engraved allegorical scene shows a chariot drawn by two horses, driven by a figure with a whip and accompanied by labeled personifications such as Malevolence and Calumny. Two women in flowing garments walk beside the chariot, and a helmeted warrior holds a banner while a wild-haired figure sits atop the vehicle.
