About this work
An engraved allegorical procession shows a chariot drawn by horses whose cloth is covered in skulls, driven by a figure with a whip while a crowned woman holds a crown aloft from a throne. Attendant figures carry a flaming vessel and a mirror, and the scene is set against craggy mountains with small figures gathered in the distance.
