About this work
A seated female figure with a partly undraped body reclines on an ornate rococo chaise while a small winged cherub stands behind her. The engraving is shaded in grey wash with reddish-brown accents and framed by a double border. The plate is inscribed with the title Du Porte-feuille de Mr Nera, the designer Boucher, and the engraver Demarteau in Paris.
