About this work
An engraved print shows a ragged man pushing a wheelbarrow loaded with a barrel past a stone wall, while a female figure in a window niche, resembling a bust, holds a jug. The inscription beneath reads "Au Vinaigre" with the imprint "Paris, chez Huquier, avec privilège du Roi", and the plate is credited to Boucher as designer and Ravenet as engraver.
