About this work
This black and white engraved print shows the interior of the Gothic church Saint-André des Arts during its demolition, with pointed arches and tracery windows partly collapsed. Carts, horses, and workers move among scattered bricks and stone blocks, while a tall tower rises on the right. The work is attributed to Theodor Josef Hubert Hoffbauer and dated 1815.
