About this work
An engraved print showing two oval portraits of men in period wigs and coats, one set above the other against a draped curtain. A table at right holds a cylindrical object and coins, and the caption lists the sitters as Cornelis Troost and Gerard Melder. The sheet is attributed to Aert Schouman and dated 1751.
