About this work
This engraved print shows a triumphal procession in which a seated female figure labeled Pudicitia, holding a banner, rides a chariot pulled by two horses. Bound figures, including a captive Cupid, are displayed before a domed classical temple and a mountain landscape, with armed attendants and allegorical women walking alongside.
