About this work
A hand-coloured caricature shows three male figures in a landscape, with inscriptions on their clothing contrasting an upright, honest figure with a corrupt one carrying bags labelled bribery and pensions. The central figure wears a sash and points toward the corrupt figure, whose face is exaggerated with a large nose and sneer.
