About this work
This red chalk style print shows two winged putti reclining on a soft cloud, one lying on its stomach at the right and the other seen from behind, holding a dove. The image is based on a design by François Boucher and was engraved by Demarteau l'Aîné, as the inscription in the lower margin records.
