About this work
This engraved print shows the Rigi Kulm inn set on a grassy hillside, with a long wooden building and an adjacent barn-like structure. Several figures walk along a path in the foreground, and cattle graze on the slope, with snow-capped mountains visible to the right. The sheet is titled L'auberge du Rigikulm and was made after David Alois Schmid, with the engraving credited to C. Hardorf and published in Zurich.
