About this work

This black-and-white print shows a rocky valley landscape with a small stone chapel built against a cliff face and a stone staircase leading up to it. A wooden cross stands in a grassy field beside a farmhouse, while pine trees and deciduous trees fill the hillside and a path winds through the foreground.
