This hand-colored print, titled Plate 5 from World in Miniature, is attributed to Thomas Rowlandson and carries the imprint London, Pub. March 1 1816, at R. Ackermann's, 101 Strand. The upper scene shows a man leaning over a seated young woman in a red bodice while an elderly woman in a grey cloak looks on, with a cat on a chair nearby. The lower scene depicts a thatched barn, a rider on a horse, a woman in pink, pigs, dogs, poultry and farm implements.
