About this work
A hand-coloured aquatint of an open-sided horse repository with a long colonnade and skylit timber roof, where groups of gentlemen in top hats and riding coats gather while a handler leads a chestnut horse. A domed rotunda with a statue stands at center, and a few hounds sit near the left foreground. The print is attributed to Thomas Rowlandson, and its plate is numbered 83.
