Kenyon Cox designed the logo of the Art Students League of New York, with its motto No Day Without a Line. He was born in Warren, Ohio, and moved to Paris in 1877 to study at the École des Beaux-Arts under Cabanel and Gérôme. Back in New York he worked as a magazine illustrator and argued in his writing for traditional, representational art. He turned more to murals after the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago. His murals are in the Library of Congress and the state capitols of Des Moines, St. Paul and Madison. Browse 123 works by Kenyon Cox from 9 museums, free to download in HD. Source: Wikipedia
