Anders Zorn

Anders Zorn grew up on his grandparents' farm near Mora, in the Swedish region of Dalarna. From 1875 to 1880 he trained at the Royal Swedish Academy of Arts in Stockholm and later worked across Europe and the United States. Portraits made his name, and his sitters included King Oscar II and three American presidents. He was known to work with only four colours.
