About this work
A pen-and-ink drawing titled Frohe Weihnachten by Karl Wiener, dated 1919, shows a snowy village scene with a domed church, half-timbered houses and a sky crossed by a shooting star. A banner unfurled across the top carries the greeting Frohe Weihnachten, and a small figure appears at the lower right. The work is held in the Wien Museum.
