About this work

A reclining female nude is seen from behind, lying on a pale cushioned surface with one arm raised over her head and dark hair falling across her shoulder. The loose, sketch-like brushwork in the muted grey, beige and green background contrasts with the softly modelled flesh tones. Ramon Casas painted this work, titled Nu femení, in 1894, and it is held by the Cau Ferrat Museum.
