The painting shows a wooden quay extending into calm water, where several men and women stand and work near a moored sailing boat with two tall masts. A small rowboat rests on the water beside the stone-edged shore, while a steamship trails smoke on the distant horizon and seagulls drift above the sea. Victor Westerholm painted this view as Eckerö Post Quay in 1885, now held by the Hämeenlinna Art Museum.
