A summer scene shows a two-story wooden villa with a veranda and decorative trim set among trees on a lakeshore, with two women in pale dresses rowing a small red boat across the water. A man in a dark suit stands at the left edge beside a picket fence, and a wooden jetty extends toward a small shelter on the right under a softly lit sky. Victor Westerholm painted this work, titled Scene from Hirvensalo, in 1903, and it is held by the Kuopio Art Museum.
