This painting shows the dead Christ seated on a white marble sarcophagus, supported by a bearded man in dark robes while two women stand on either side, one in a black veil and one in a red mantle. The pale blue sky and golden wall behind the figures frame the scene, and faint halos appear above their heads. Pietro Perugino painted this work in 1512, and it is held by the National Gallery of Umbria.
