About this work
A watercolor by Deborah Griscom Passmore shows a yellow quince halved lengthwise to reveal its core, pale flesh, and dark seeds in their chambers. The fruit is rendered on a cream sheet with a thin pencil border and a soft cast shadow beneath it.
