About this work
A watercolor study shows a whole Bosc pear with a long reddish-brown stem and a cut pear half beside it, revealing pale flesh and a central cluster of seeds. The fruit is rendered in warm golden-brown tones with fine speckling, set against a pale page with a thin ruled border.
