About this work
A watercolor study of a single citrus fruit, shown mostly yellow with green tones at the top and a small green stem with a red tip at the right. A tan, blotchy scar and a smaller brown spot mark the surface, as in a pomological record. The work is attributed to J. Marion Shull and dated 1928, from the USDA Pomological Watercolor Collection.
