About this work
A watercolor of a single yellow grapefruit, shown in a three-quarter view with its stem end at the top and a small brown blemish on its side. The fruit is rendered with fine stippled texture and soft shading against a cream paper ground, with handwritten labels and the artist's signature at the bottom.
