About this work
A watercolor study shows a single large yellow citron with a short woody stem, its bumpy, pitted peel and ridged, lobed form rendered in soft shading. The sheet bears handwritten notes identifying the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, Los Angeles County, California, and the date 2-18-96. The work is attributed to Deborah Griscom Passmore and dated 1896.
