About this work
A watercolor botanical study shows a whole lemon with a pronounced nipple end, alongside a longitudinal cut half and a cross-section revealing its segments. The handwritten label records the variety as Lisbon, the grower as C. S. Pomeroy of Corona Lemon Co. Corona, California, and the artist's dates as 1914.
