About this work
A botanical watercolor shows a large, bumpy orange-yellow citrus fruit above a cross section revealing pale green pulp segments arranged around a central core with white seeds. The fruit is rendered on a cream background within a thin rectangular border, signed by the artist Louis Charles Christopher Krieger.
