About this work
The painting shows two round citrus fruits stacked vertically against a pale background, the upper one green and unripe-looking, the lower one orange and ripe, each with a small stem end and soft highlights. The handwritten label beneath the image notes the cured and uncured Parson Brown oranges from Orlando, Florida.
