About this work
This watercolor shows four Elberta peaches, including one whole yellow fruit with reddish mottled blemishes, one split fruit revealing its pit, a darkened deformed peach, and a halved peach with a brown pit. The fruit is shown against a pale background with a handwritten label noting the specimen as affected by curl leaf.
