About this work
A single green-yellow fruit is painted in watercolor on cream paper, centered on the sheet with its surface marked by rust-brown spots with pale centers. The sheet bears the handwritten number 1460 in the upper right corner. This is a 1926 painting by J. Marion Shull, held in the USDA Pomological Watercolor Collection at the National Agricultural Library, and it depicts peaches (Prunus persica).
