About this work
A watercolor study of a 'Yellow Swan' peach, shown whole above and halved below to reveal the yellow and red flesh and the central pit. The fruit is painted with soft shading and a faint cast shadow on a cream background, with handwritten inventory notes and the artist's signature in the lower corners.
