About this work
A watercolor study of the 'Rodes' peach, shown whole with blemished red and yellow skin and beside it a cut half revealing yellow flesh and a dark, deeply furrowed pit. The page carries a handwritten inventory number, cultivar name and grower location, and is signed by the artist with dates in August 1908.
